Texas couldn’t get the rebounds and couldn’t make shots in last night’s matchup against North Carolina. The Runnin’ Horns jacked up 25 3 pointers and only made 9 of them. It was a frustrating night for Rick Barnes and his young team who couldn’t seem to get anything going. J’Covan Brown and Jonathan Holmes each scored 16 points and Sheldon McClellan came off the bench to add 16 as well. Myck Kabongo scored 1 point and played 15 minutes.
North Carolina had lost 4 straight games to Texas prior to last night’s win.
Texas heads back to Austin to take on Rice this Saturday at the Erwin Center.
