On Saturday, the Longhorns will host the Oklahoma State Cowboys in one of the nation’s few top twenty-five ranked matchups. However, besides the highly anticipated conference matchup, all eyes will be focused on what’s happening in the the stands this weekend.
In today’s article, I discuss some of the visitors that are expected to attend this weekend’s game versus Oklahoma State. Also, I will list all of Texas’s most recent offers since

Arch Manning:
To begin, we start with a familiar name, that being 2023 five-star quarterback Arch Manning, the nephew of Peyton & Eli and grandson of Archie. Despite receiving plenty of attention because of the family name, Arch can also sling the rock. Currently, the 247Sports Composite has listed Arch as the nation’s top-prospect in the 2023 recruiting class.
It appears that head coach Steve Sarkisian and quarterbacks coach AJ Milwee have made a great impression on Arch, as well as his high school coach Nelson Stewart. Furthermore, Saturday’s visit to Austin will provide Manning with the Texas game day experience and will allow him to connect with several other Texas targets.
While the Longhorns coaching staff has gotten off to a promising start with Manning, they will be competing with schools such as Alabama, Clemson, Georgia and Ole Miss. In fact, Arch has already been able to visit Alabama and Georgia this fall.
In 2021, the Longhorns were able to add three-star quarterback Charles Wright and, in 2022, Texas is expected to add four-star quarterback Maalik Murphy.
Other Visitors:
On Thursday, 2022 four-star safety Mikal Harrison-Pilot announced that he will also be in attendance for Saturday’s game. The native of Temple, TX was able to visit the Forty Acres in June and could potentially join the 2022 recruiting class’s secondary of Bryan Allen Jr., Austin Jordan and Ronald Lewis.
Similar to Harrison-Pilot, 2022 five-star safety Jacoby Matthews also plans to visit the Longhorns this weekend. Matthews is currently the 27th-ranked player in the nation’s 2022 recruiting class per the 247Sports Composite. Matthews is a Louisiana native and, like many blue-chip Louisiana natives, is being heavily recruited by LSU. Nonetheless, it should be considered a big win for the Longhorns to get Matthews on campus for Saturday’s experience.
Joining the party, 2022 four-star athlete Larry Turner-Gooden announced via Twitter that he will be traveling to Austin for the game. Luckily for Texas, Turner-Gooden is friends with current Texas pledge Maalik Murphy, who may help to sway the former Arizona State commit to Texas.
This is by no means a comprehensive list of this weekend’s visitors, however it should serve as an indicator of how much talent will be in the stands on Saturday.
