This weekend, I decided on doing something different. I chose to cover the Texas School for the Deaf’s football game against Veritas Academy. What is a better way to get inspired by the game of football than to see young adults with such a passion for the game?
In addition to covering TSD’s game on Friday, I will write about Texas’s recent recruiting news.
Week Four:
Earlier in the week, Hill released his top 12 schools list which included some familiar names such Alabama, Oklahoma and Texas A&M.
Along with Hill, Harold Perkins also recently released a top schools list, representing 7 college football programs, with schools such as Alabama, Southern California and Texas A&M. As of today, Texas A&M is the lead school for Perkins according to the 247Sports crystal ball predictions.
Obviously, the Longhorns have a lot of work to do, both on the field and off, if they want to win over the services of these athletes. The next month or two will be critical for Texas’s positioning in recruiting as they wrap up their 2022 class prior to the early National Signing Day period.
