Top-ranked Texas defeated Prairie View A&M on Tuesday evening at UFCU Disch-Falk Field 11-2, winning their 10th straight contest.

LHP Kade Bing earned the midweek start for the Longhorns, throwing three innings and giving up just one run en route to his third win of the season (3-0). Following Bing’s appearance, Hudson Hamilton pitched three scoreless innings and struck out three. In the win, Texas saw three more relievers notch playing time, including Aiden Moffett, Ethan Walker, and Cody Howard. The trio each pitched an inning, helping seal the 11-2 win over the Panthers.

Offensively, the night belonged to left fielder Easton Winfield, who hit his first home run of the season and put together a four-hit game. Casey Borba and Will Gasparino also homered, helping the No. 1 Longhorns close out the homestand 4-0.

Texas resumes SEC play at 6:00 pm on Thursday night at Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville against No. 11 Arkansas.
