Texas has been selected as one of 16 regional host sites for the 2026 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship, marking the 39th time the Longhorns will host postseason play in Austin. It’s another milestone for a program that continues to set the standard nationally.
Coming off a second consecutive 40-win regular season, Texas enters the postseason at 40–13 and will make its 65th NCAA Tournament appearance. Regional action at UFCU Disch-Falk Field is scheduled to begin Friday, May 29.
Few programs can match the Longhorns’ postseason track record, and that dominance has been especially evident at home. Texas owns a 153-60-1 all-time record in regional play, including an impressive 110-33-1 mark in Austin.
The SEC will be well represented among host sites, with Texas joined by Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi State, and Texas A&M in hosting duties for the regional round.
Matchups for the Austin Regional, along with the full 64-team bracket, will be revealed Monday at 11 a.m. on ESPN2.
