About Oklahoma Sooners
Record: 11-2
RPI: 43
Biggest win: Seton Hall
Biggest Loss: Louisiana Tech
Overview:
The Sooners did not play a particularly tough non-conference schedule but took care of business in the majority of their games. They lost to Louisiana Tech at home in overtime which is likely going to be a bad loss on their NCAA tournament resume. The Sooners have all 5 starters averaging double figures in points and rank 5th as a team in the NCAA in points per game. Oklahoma rings in a decent RPI ranking but if the Sooners begin to  lose conference games early on, look for a drop in RPI.
Player to watch
Cameron Clark
Cameron Clark is once again the star of the Oklahoma Sooners, averaging 18.5 points per game. The offense runs through him and because OU opponents focus on him, it opens up his strong supporting cast to get open shots. His presence on the court rarely goes unnoticed and he can make big plays when he wants to.
Prediction
The Sooners are a good team and I want to see how well the Longhorns do when they are a favorite against a team capable of beating them. The Sooners will want to come out and prove they are a better team than what they showed against Louisiana Tech. I believe they will come out and fight against the Longhorns but this Texas team is focused and wants to prove they belong at the top of the Big 12. Look for the game to be close at halftime with the Longhorns separating themselves bu a good margin in the second half.
Longhorns win 72-61
