The SEC has finalized opponents and home-and-away designations for the 2026–27 men’s basketball season, setting the stage for another demanding conference slate. Specific game dates, tip times and TV assignments will be announced at a later time.
Texas, entering its third season in the SEC and fifth year at Moody Center, will welcome one of the nation’s toughest home schedules. The Longhorns are set to host Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas A&M in Austin.
On the road, Texas will travel to face Florida, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, navigating a conference that continues to deepen in national relevance and postseason impact.
SEC play is scheduled to begin Jan. 2 and conclude March 6. Each team will face all 15 conference opponents at least once, with three teams appearing twice on the schedule — two permanent rivals and one rotating matchup that changes annually.
The postseason will once again run through Nashville, with the SEC Tournament slated for March 10–14 at Bridgestone Arena.
