New Orleans' Jermaine Roberts Makes No. 15 for Texas

After taking an official visit to Austin this weekend, St. Augustine (LA) prospect Jermaine Roberts decided it was time.

Time to become the Longhorns’ No. 15 verbal from the 2014 class.

The 5-foot-9, 170 pound, 3-star cornerback chose Texas over offers from Alabama, Texas A&M, Florida State, Michigan, Oklahoma, and UCLA among others.

He joins high school teammate and defensive tackle Courtney Garnett as the second St. Augustine High School player to commit to Texas in the last week.

An offer to nationally top-ranked 5-star running back Leonard Fournette by the Longhorns remains outstanding.  Fournette plays with Garnett and Roberts at St. Augustine.
