Not 48 hours after Texas received verbals from four prospects, No. 11 rolls through.
Abilene’s Jake McMillon has committed to the University of Texas, per Blake Munroe.
The 6-foot-3, 240 pound defensive end visited this weekend, and felt the timing was right to pull the trigger.
McMillon boasts offers from TCU, Rice, SMU, and Texas State, with interest from Texas A&M.
McMillon is a 3-star prospect, ranked No. Â 96 overall on the 247 recruiting rankings for 2014.
“It just felt like the right fit for me,†McMillon said in a text message. “Great coaches, great place to be.†(Quote from Max Olson)
