Texas picked up commit No. 12 for the 2014 class this afternoon when St. Augustine (LA) defensive tackle, Courtney Garnett this afternoon.

The 6-foot-2, 280 pound junior boasted offers from the likes of Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Mississippi State, and Tulane, and strong interest from in-state school, LSU.

Plays for a St. Augustine squad that holds five to six division-I prospects, including Texas target Jermaine Phillips.
