In addition to being selected to win the Southeastern Conference Championship this season, the Longhorn Football program was showered with accolades following the conclusion of SEC Media Days this week. Thirteen players were honored with Preseason All-SEC Team selections, including five of them being First-Team picks, according to an SEC Media Poll.
Junior running back Quintrevion Wisner, senior offensive lineman DJ Campbell, sophomore EDGE Colin Simmons, junior linebacker Anthony Hill Jr., and senior defensive back Michael Taaffe were named to the Preseason All-SEC First Team.
Sophomore wide receiver Ryan Wingo, junior defensive back Malik Muhammad, and senior punter Jack Bouwmeester earned Second-Team honors.
Sophomore quarterback Arch Manning, junior tight end Jack Endries, sophomore offensive lineman Trevor Goosby, senior linebacker Trey Moore, and senior kickoff specialist Will Stone were selected to the Third Team.
