Texas head coach Steve Sarksian and the Texas Longhorns (6-1, 3-1) welcome the BYU Cougars (5-2, 2-2) to Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium for just the fourth time in history. The Cougars hold the all-time advantage over the Longhorns 4-1 and have won the last two games by a combined 53 points. Saturday’s contest will be the only one in which they play one another as members of the Big 12.
Both programs won last week, with Texas escaping Houston with a win over Dana Holgerson’s Cougars, and BYU defeating Texas Tech at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah.
