Are burnt ends tough, chewy worthless cuts of meat, or are they heavenly bites of smoky goodness? It depends on who you ask…

After a much needed win over Oklahoma, it feels like the Longhorns can turn around their season. At 2-4, the Horns sit in exactly the same place they were at this time last season, but things have a different feel to them. The Red River Showdown is a game that draws all the eyes of the State’s top players, and this year was no exception. We spoke with a number of recruits and offer these tidbits from the aftermath of the big win.
