One of the top offensive weapons in the state is closing in on a decision. Zachery Turner, a 4-star tight end/wide receiver out of Duncanville High School in the 2026 class, has announced his final six schools: Texas, Miami, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh, Ole Miss, and SMU.
Turner is ranked the No. 38 player in Texas and the No. 15 tight end nationally, per Rivals.com.
The versatile pass catcher is a physical presence at the line of scrimmage, a polished route runner with the speed to stretch the field, and boasts strong, reliable hands. Turner attacks the football at the catch point and is a ferocious blocker in the run game, making him a true dual-threat tight end. He can also line up out wide as a receiver, giving him added value at the next level.
Texas remains firmly in the mix for one of the most complete and dynamic offensive prospects in the 2026 class.
