2014 Rivals 100 rankings out, 3 Texas commits make the list

The Rivals.com Top 100 for 2014 high school rankings, which ranks the top 100 football athletes in the nation.  Of Mack Brown’s eight 2014 commits, three of them made the prestigious list:  Heralded quarterback Jerrod Heard (Denton Guyer) is ranked #73, Derick Roberson (DE – Brennan, San Antonio) is ranked #81 and Demetrius Knox (OL – Fort Worth All Saints Episcopal) pulls in at #88. Heard is the overall No. 3 rated QB in the nation.

A good number of players Texas has extended scholarship offers to are on the list, including running back Leonard Fournette (#3) and defensive back Tony Brown (#13).
