Texas wide receiver Miles Onyegbule who played in 12 games last year as a true freshman suffered a tear in his left pectoral muscle and will miss the remainder of spring and summer drills. It is not known when Onyegbule will return but the team hopes to have him back in time for the season opener at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium vs. Wyoming on September 1st. It is reported that Onyegbule will need surgery to repair the tear which leaves Texas a bit thin at the Wide Receiver position, especially with Darius Terrell’s announcement last week that he would transfer from the Texas program.
