When I started researching the players that make up the 2013 Horn Sports 50 rankings, I noticed a trend with almost every video and player. There is more than one talented kid on the field during each snap of high school football games in Texas.
I look at Player A, notice Player B; then after re-watching to focus on Player B, Player C finishes the play with typical Texas passion and hustle. That is one of the joys of evaluating kids in Texas. You never know what you’re going to see.
The 2013 Class is filled with potential college All-Americans and future NFL personnel down the road. This group is particularly strong on the Offensive Line, at Quarterback, and as Hybrid Defensive Ends/Linebackers. We will be updating this list monthly as their senior year transpires.
By the way…. the Class of 2014 is loaded to the point of legendary status. As many as 20-25 kids could be national recruits at their positions. The Horn Sports 50 (Class of 2014 list) will be something for you guys to look forward to in the near future. Until then, Hook ‘Em.
