The Longhorns won their second consecutive game tonight as they beat Coppin State 69-46 at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin. Sheldon McClellan led the Longhorns in scoring with 25, and freshman Ioannis Papapetrou dumped in 10 points and 9 rebounds. The Texas defense was stellar against the Eagles, holding Fang Mitchell’s team to just 25.5% from the floor.  In Kabongo’s absence starting point guard Javan Felix had zero points, 8 turnovers and 9 assists in thew win tonight.
Patrick Cole led the Eagles in scoring for a second consective game with 15 points while Troy Franklin scored 14 and had 8 steals.
