The Texas Longhorns added their first offensive line commitment in the 2025 recruiting class on Monday in Port Neches-Groves’ Jackson Christian. Christian, a 6-5, 309 lb. three-star prospect according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, held offers from Houston, Texas Tech, Texas State, Texas A&M, SMU, UTSA and Colorado State. He ultimately chose the Longhorns over the Aggies, both schools he visited last summer.
Christian is ranked as the 79th best player in Texas and the 30th best interior lineman in the state according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
He becomes the 7th commit in the Longhorns’ 2025 recruiting class, joining QB KJ Lacey (Saraland, AL), TE Emaree Winston (Calhoun, GA), DL Brandon Brown (Melbourne, FL), DL Lance Jackson (Texarkana, TX), RB Rickey Stewart (Tyler, TX), and LB Elijah Barnes (Dallas, TX).
