Dakorien Moore, a highly touted wide receiver in the class of 2025, has decommitted from LSU, opening up new possibilities for his future. Moore, who originally committed to LSU in August 2023, is now being heavily courted by the Texas Longhorns.
A two-time state champion at Duncanville, Moore has showcased his immense talent on the field and has been a three year starter for the Panthers. During his junior year, he recorded 71 receptions for 1,523 yards and 18 touchdowns, highlighting his ability as a big play threat offensively. Known for his speed and agility, Moore has elite quickness, with the ability shake free of defenders in space and he is an elite route runner with great hands. Moore is an elite sprinter, he was apart of the Duncanville state champion 4×200 relay team that set a national record this spring at the Texas UIL State Championships.
As the number one receiver in the 2025 class, Moore is a top target for the Longhorns. He is a playmaker, with all the tools to be an immediate contributor when he gets on campus. Moore visited Texas during their spring game in April, indicating strong interest from both parties. Texas moves into a great position as one the top schools forecasted to gain a commitment from the talented wideout.
