Texas Basketball head coach Rodney Terry picked up his fourth player from the transfer portal this spring cycle, adding former Oregon State guard Jordan Pope to the roster on Wednesday. Pope had whittled down his transfer selection to two schools on Monday, with the Texas A&M Aggies and Texas Longhorns making the list. He made his announcement on Wednesday afternoon, with the Longhorns receiving the pledge of the 6-2, 165 lb. Pope, who was the leading scorer for the Beavers last season.
Pope, a Napa, California native, joins Indiana State Sycamore transfers Julian Larry and Jayson Kent and Arkansas guard Tramon Mark as portal commitments to Rodney Terry’s team. He was a three-star prospect out of high school and is considered a four-star transfer portal prospect, according to the 247Sports transfer rankings.
