AUGUSTA, GA — The No. 1 ranked player in the world and former University of Texas golfer Scottie Scheffler won his second career Masters tournament on Sunday. Scheffler previously won the green jacket in Augusta in 2022, joining 17 others to have won the Masters multiple times.
He won by four strokes over Swede Ludvig Aberg who finished the tournament at -7. The win is Scheffler’s ninth career win on the PGA Tour. Former Longhorn standout golfer and PGA Veteran Ben Crenshaw also won two Masters tournaments (1984, 1995). Jordan Spieth, who won the Masters in 2015, also played coleegiate golf on the 40 Acres.
