After losing to Kansas State in Manhattan earlier in the week, Texas will host Oklahoma State at home. The Longhorns have had success against the Cowboys at home, boasting a 28-13 record. Despite scoring just 48 points in the recent loss to the Wildcats, Texas is still in the picture for an invitation to the NCAA Tournament. Oklahoma State boasts identical overall and conference records as Texas. The Cowboys are reeling from a 79-71 win over #6 Texas Tech, in which senior guard Kendall Smith scored 21 points.
Senior Guard Jeffrey Carroll leads Oklahoma State in scoring, averaging 15 points per games and 6 rebounds per game. Smith is second on the team in scoring with 12.8 points per game, followed by junior guard Tavarius Shine who averages 10.4 points per game.
