Texas A&M coach Kevin Sumlin has been winning head-to-head recruiting battles over Mack Brown for almost a year now.
Not today.
Texas City wide receiver and former Oklahoma pledge, Armanti Formean chose the Longhorns tonight, and becomes the No. 20 member of the 2014 class. He’s also the seventh WR the Horns have nabbed in the ’14 group.
His brother D’Onta (2-star RB/LB) becomes No. 21 and will join in him in Austin next fall.
The 5-foot-11, 175-pound pass-catcher is rated No. 23 on the Horn Sports 50 for 2014 recruiting rankings. He had over 1400 yards and 13 touchdown’s during his junior year at Texas City.
