Five and Five: Ten Things to Know About Baylor and Texas Ahead of Saturday’s Game in Waco

Gone are the days when the Baylor Bears were an automatic win on the schedule for the Texas Longhorns.  Saturday’s contest in Waco will mark the 111th meeting between the two programs, which first began playing one another in 1901.  Texas owns a commanding 79-27-4 record all-time against Baylor, but the Bears have made tough work of Texas over the last decade.  Since 2010, Texas is 6-5 against the private school in Waco that enrolls 16,787 students.
