What began as a normal Sunday turned into a monster recruiting day for Texas football.   First Deoundrei Davis… Then Jacorey Warrick… Next came the news of Lancaster High School’s Daeshon Hall’s commitment to the Longhorns. A Sunday “trifecta” for the coaching staff. Hall is 6’6″ 220lb defensive end that has great athleticism and speed. Because Davis plays basketball also at Lancaster reports surfaced that Davis wouldn’t make JD2 last Saturday if Lancaster won its playoff game on Friday, which they did.  Nonetheless Hall still managed to make the trip to Austin and he was impressed enough to accept Mack Brown’s offer. He has received offers from Baylor, Mizzou, TCU and Texas A&M. The 6’6″ frame can obviously hold more weight , so expect that to jump by the time Hall signs. Another item of note is the offer Texas extended to Alief Taylor defensive end Torrodney Prevot. Prevot, a highly touted defensive end prospect, has received offers from LSU, Texas A&M, Utah, Baylor and Oklahoma. He attended the Texas second Junior Day on Saturday and has Texas high on his list of possible schools. Stay tuned for more on Prevot…
