Davis, the leading receiver for Texas in 2012, caught 57 passes for 939 yards and 7 touchdowns. He averaged a whopping 16.5 yards per catch this season and emerged as the favorite deep target receiver of quarterback David Ash. In his freshman year he broke the single season reception record at UT hauling in 47 passes. Davis will leave the University of Texas at #7 in career reception yards with 1,996, one spot ahead of Limas Sweed (#8, 1,915 yards) and one spot behind Kwame Cavil (#6, 2,279 yards).
Davis is projected to be a third round draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
