The Longhorns scored all 19 points in the first half against the Wildcats en route to a 19-14 victory over Kansas State. Sam Ehlinger threw for 207 yards and a touchdown in the win, while Texas’ other touchdown came courtesy of D’Shawn Jamison’s 90-yard punt return. It wasn’t a game in which Texas thoroughly dominated – particularly in the second half, but they did enough to leave Manhattan with their first win in 16 years at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The Longhorns sit at 4-1 as they head into a big game against rival Oklahoma on Saturday at the Cotton Bowl.
