With more than 70 high school quarterbacks from 12 different states in attendance at the Nike Elite 11 QB Camp at Cowboy Stadium in Dallas on Sunday, the talent was plentiful. Elite 11 Head Coach Trent Dilfer liked what he saw from guys like Kyler Murray (Allen HS – TX) , University of Houston commit Ben Hicks (Midway HS – TX) and Texas Tech commit Jarrett Stidham (Stephenville HS – TX), and acknowledged the challenges that many players encounter while competing in an Elite 11 camp. Stidham was named the top performer of the camp and punched his ticket to The Opening which will be held from July 5-10 at the Nike World Headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.
HornSports’ Mike Roach caught up with Dilfer after the completion of the camp to ask about some of the recruits on the Texas radar including Quinten Dormady (Boerne HS – TX) 2016 QB Jacob Eason (Lake Stevens HS – WA) and Ryan Agnew (Southlake Carroll HS – TX).
