In their first Southeastern Conference matchup in history, the No. 1 Texas Longhorns (4-0, 0-0) will face the Mississippi State Bulldogs (1-3, 0-1) next Saturday at Darrell K. Royal – Texas Memorial Stadium. Announced on Sunday, kickoff between the Longhorns and Bulldogs will take place at 3:15 pm with the game airing on the SEC Network.
Texas opens as 35.5 favorites in the contest and owns a 2-2 record all-time against Mississippi State. The Longhorns defeated UL-Monroe 51-3 in their last game, while the Bulldogs lost their SEC opener in Starkville to Florida 45-28.
