The bottom end of the schedule is shaping up to be nasty.

Aug. 31 – New Mexico State Aggies (0-5) @ New Mexico Lobos

Line: New Mexico -9.5

Prediction: New Mexico 29, New Mexico State 17

If you are one of those sick fans of awful football, tune in to this one.

Sept. 7 – BYU Cougars (2-2) vs Utah State Aggies

Line: Utah State -6

Prediction: BYU 17, Utah State 16

The game is Chuckie Keeton vs the BYU Defense. In a thriller, Im going with the BYU Defense I know is better than USCs, which held Keeton in check.

Sept. 14 – Ole Miss Rebels (3-1) @ Auburn Tigers

Line: Ole Miss -2.5

Prediction: Ole Miss 27, Auburn 24

This one should actually be a decent game, but Im going with the more battle tested Rebels

Sept. 21 – Kansas State Wildcats (2-2) @ Oklahoma State Cowboys

Line: Oklahoma State -14

Prediction: Oklahoma State 45, Kansas State 21

The Cowboys have far too much in the tank for the Wildcats to handle. Depending on just how hard the Pokes want to play, this could be worse than predicted.

Oct. 3 – Iowa State Cyclones (1-2) vs Texas Longhorns

Line: Texas -8

Prediction: Texas 35, Iowa State 24

The Longhorns are on the road, without their QB, and are already notorious for slow starts under embattled Mack Brown. Texas just has too much talent across the board to lose this game, but it wont be the massive blowout fans want to see.

Oct. 12 – Oklahoma Sooners (4-0) vs TCU Horned Frogs

Line: Oklahoma -11

Prediction: Oklahoma 38, TCU 20

TCU will be a good tune up for the Longhorns next week, and both have similar QB play in Boykin compared to McCoy. The Sooners will have far too much on offense for the Horned Frogs to pull the upset.

Oct. 26 – TCU Horned Frogs (2-2) @ Oklahoma Sooners

Line: Oklahoma -11

Prediction: Oklahoma 38, TCU 20

Remember when the Frogs were a national title contender to some folks? Yeah…..

Nov. 2 – Kansas Jayhawks (2-1) vs Texas Tech Red Raiders

Line: Texas Tech -17

Prediction: Texas Tech 38, Kansas 14

Kansas has had a nice run fattening up on bad football teams, a run which ends here. Kliff Kingsbury will boatrace Charlie Weis.

Nov. 9 – West Virginia Mountaineers (3-2) @ Baylor Bears

Line: Baylor -27.5

Prediction: Baylor 52, West Virginia 21

The run of 70 point games ends for the Bears, but they still win comfortably at home. Too much offense and execution for the Mountaineers to handle.

Nov. 16 – Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-1) vs Kansas State Wildcats

Line: Oklahoma State -14

Prediction: Oklahoma State 45, Kansas State 21

Hopefully this years Wildcats team is just a blip on Snyders resume and not a sign of things to come.

Nov. 28 – Texas Tech Red Raiders (4-0) @ Kansas Jayhawks

Line: Texas Tech -17

Prediction: Texas Tech 38, Kansas 14

Kansas hasn’t won a conference game in years. Why start now?

Dec. 7 – Baylor Bears (3-0) vs West Virginia Mountaineers

Line: Baylor -27.5Prediction: Baylor 52, West Virginia 21

Hopefully Oliver Luck and Art Briles can meet before the game. They may be seeing a lot of each other soon.

Combined Record of Opponents: 29-18
