Aug. 31 – New Mexico State Aggies (0-3) @ UCLA Bruins

Line: UCLA -42.5

Prediction: UCLA 63, New Mexico State 6

Jim Mora has turned the Bruins into a force in the Pac12. They will unceremoniously destroy the Aggies.

Sept. 7 – BYU Cougars (1-1) vs Utah Utes

Line: BYU -7

Prediction: BYU 31, Utah 21

The Cougars will have a harder time versus a defense that can tackle, but their defense will take care of the Utes in this intrastate grudge match.

Sept. 14 – Ole Miss Rebels (3-0) OPEN DATE

Line: N/A

Prediction: Grandiose thoughts of an Alabama upset

After whipping Texas, the Rebels get the week off to prepare for the top ranked Crimson Tide.

Sept. 21 – Kansas State Wildcats (2-1) @ Texas Longhorns

Line: Texas -4.5

Prediction: Kansas State 41, Texas 27

KSU owns the Longhorns, who may get QB David Ash back, but are banged up on offense and non existent on defense.

Oct. 3 – Iowa State Cyclones (0-2) OPEN DATE

Line: N/A

Prediction: More work to be done in Ames

Open date ahead of two consecutive Thursday night tilts. The Cyclones have to start scoring more points.

Oct. 12 – Oklahoma Sooners (3-0) OPEN DATE

Line: N/A

Prediction: Constant study of the Irish

Blake Bell threw for 400 yards in a beating of Tulsa. Now, the Sooners get a week off to prepare for a trip to South Bend and a shot at vengeance against Notre Dame.

Oct. 26 – TCU Horned Frogs (1-2) OPEN DATE

Line: N/A

Prediction: A referee will show up to practice and start throwing random flags

Horned Frogs take the week off after losing an umpshow to Texas Tech last Thursday. They’ll face former Texas QB Garrett Gilbert next week, so chances to go 2-2 headed to Norman are pretty good.

Nov. 2 – Kansas Jayhawks (1-1) vs Louisiana Tech Bulldogs

Line: Kansas -10

Prediction: Kansas 35, La Tech 17

This isn’t an indication of Kansas being an ok team, its an indictment of how bad the Bulldogs are. La Tech has fallen hard since last year.

Nov. 9 – West Virginia Mountaineers (2-1) @ Maryland Terrapins

Line: Maryland -4.5

Prediction: West Virginia 33, Maryland 30

In a real class move, Maryland’s AD will not allow WVU’s band to perform. I think the feel good of last weeks win, a new QB in Ford Childress who doesnt know they shouldnt win, and some motivation propel the Mountaineers to a minor upset win.

Nov. 16 – Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-0) OPEN DATE

Line: N/A

Prediction: Full production of Thayer Evans voodoo dolls

Gundy’s boys get the week off to prep for a trip to West Virginia. Looking forward to that game.

Nov. 28 – Texas Tech Red Raiders (3-0) vs Texas State Bobcats

Line: Texas Tech -27

Prediction: Texas Tech 56, Texas State 21

Bottomline, the Red Raiders blow out the Bobcats. Could be even worse than Im predicting.

Dec. 7 – Baylor Bears (2-0) vs Louisiana Monroe Warhawks

Line: Baylor -29.5

Prediction: Baylor 70, ULM 28

Bears averaging 69.5 points per game thus far, and will continue the trend against a ULM squad that just cant match the Bears speed.

Combined Record of Opponents: 21-11
