When it rains it pours….. Less than 24 hours after receiving a commitment from 2025 tight end Emaree Wilson, the Longhorns have secured their third prsopect in the Class of 2025. Out-of-state defensive tackle Brandon Brown (Eau Gallie High School – Melborne, Florida) announced his commitment to Steve Sarkisian and the Longhorns via his Twitter account.
Brown is 6-2 and 286 lbs. and held offers from more than 40 schools. Texas defensive line coach Bo Davis led the way in the recruitment of Brown, who has picked up steam on the recruiting trail as of late. He was offered by Tennessee and Michigan last month and visited Alabama, Miami and LSU before ultimately pledging to the Longhorns.
He ranks as the 31st best defensive lineman in the country and the 40th best player in the state of Florida according to the 247Sports Composite Player Rankings.
Brown joins 4-star quarterback KJ Lacey (Saraland – Saraland, Alabama) and 4-star tight end Emaree Wilson (Calhoun – Calhoun, Georgia) as commits in the Longhorns’ 2025 Recruiting Class.
