It wasn’t pretty, but the Texas Longhorns (4-1, 2-0) intercepted West Virginia quarterback Austin Kendall four times and left Morgantown with an unscathed conference record. Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger threw for two touchdowns and rushed for two, leading the Longhorns to a 42-31 win over the Mountaineers.
It was a career-night for true freshman running back Roschon Johnson, as he surpassed the century mark on the ground, rushing for 121 yards on 21 carries.
Texas will prepare for its annual showdown with the Oklahoma Sooners, which will take place at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas next Saturday.
