The #9 Texas Longhorns survived a late comeback attempt by the Baylor Bears to win their sixth straight game and remain undefeated in Big 12 play. Texas quarterback Sam Ehlinger left the game on the opening drive with a shoulder injury and was replaced by Shane Buechele. Buechele finished the game with 184 yards and a touchdown. True freshman running back Keaontay Ingram surpassed the century mark for the first time in his career at Texas, rushing for 110 yards on 19 carries.
The Longhorns enjoy a bye week next weekend before traveling to Stillwater, Oklahoma to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys.
