Congrats to UT golfer Jordan Spieth. First he is a member of the NCAA Champion Golf team and then he finished as the low amateur in the US Open. Along the way he beat Rory McElroy, Phil Michelson and tied Tiger Woods. His weekend score of 70-69 was one of the best and one the leaders would have died for.

What is the difference between the Aggies and Rice Crispies?

Rice Crispies know what to do in a bowl.

LaDainian Tomlinson recently retired from the NFL. His stats say he was one of the best running backs to ever play. His senior year in high school he rushed for over 2,500 yards and 39 touchdowns. He played his college ball at TCU, but it could have been different.

Leroy Coleman was LT’s coach at University High School.  He sent out tapes of to all the big schools. LT really wanted to go to Texas or Texas A&M. He never heard a word because he was thought to be too slow. Oh, what could have been?

Did you hear about the skeleton they found in a closet in one of the dorms at A&M?

It was the 1963 hide-and-go-seek champion!

Poor Case McCoy got punked by Twitter. He fell for an phony ESPN account that stated his brother Colt had been traded by the Cleveland Browns. He went on a rant against the team only to find the account was not ESPN and had to delete the posts. From what I am hearing, he might have saved the comments because word is Colt’s days in CleveLand are numbered.

Texas Wins the Title….The Longhorns victory over the Trojans, in the 2005 National Championship Game, was the #15 in the ESPY’S top 20 sports moments in the last 20 years. Vince Young was interviewed for the piece and has this to say about the matchup…

“All week we heard about USC this and USC that, and when I lost the Heisman, I was pretty upset. As a team, we had to get ready for a huge game and we had to bring it back to Texas. From start to finish, it was a great game.”

Where was O.J. hiding right before the famous white Bronco Chase?

On the A&M campus, because that’s the last place you’ll find a football player

Never too early for a 2013 NFL Mock Draft and ESPN Todd McShay has our own Jackson Jeffcoat as the third overall selection. My hope is he ends up as the number one overall because that means he tore up some Big XII teams this upcoming season.

and finally….

Did you hear about the Aggie who won a gold medal at the Olympics?

He liked it so much that he decided to get it bronzed.

Hook’em.
