Offensive Tackle Camrhon Hughes Tears ACL, Will Miss Season

Freshman Tackle Camrhon Hughes from Harker Heights, TX has reportedly torn his ACL and will miss the entire 2012 season.  Hughes sustained the injury in a pickup basketball game and will redshirt this year.  The offensive line for Texas will need to be reevaluated with the loss of Hughes and recent decision of Paden Kelley to leave football.   Look for juco transfer OT DOnald Hawkins and Freshman tackle Kennedy Estelle to be “leaned on” this season.  You hate to see these kinds of injuries to young guys, especially before they have even stepped foot on the playing field.  We wish Camrhon a speedy recovery.  Camrhon Hughes is the brother of 2013 grayshirt commit Naashon Hughes and will join the Manny Diaz defense next year.
