247Sports released their 2023 team talent composite recruiting rankings on Wednesday and the Longhorns find themselves ranked 6th on the list behind top-ranked Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State, Texas A&M and Clemson. The team talent rankings look at all FBS programs and spits out a team ranking based on the team’s players and their high school recruiting rankings.
The Longhorns amassed a total of 913.24 points with a total of 85 commits with 9 five-star players, 47 four-star players and 27 three-star recruits for an average player score of 90.96.

Texas leads the Big 12 in the team talent rankings, followed by Oklahoma (844.97), TCU (768.25), Texas Tech (694.26), Baylor (678), University of Houston (670.25), West Virginia (666.23), Cincinnati (663.68), Oklahoma State (649.79), Iowa State (638.87), Kansas (632.68), Kansas State (616), and BYU (576.25). We could not find any information on Central Florida.
