Austin – The Texas Longhorns beat the 23rd ranked West Virginia Mountaineers 33-16 to improve to 5-5 on the season.
Texas running back Johnathan Gray scored a career high 3 touchdowns in the game and surpassed the 100 yard mark for the first time this season. Gray finished with 104 yards on 10 carries, including one for 40 yards.
Running back Malcolm Brown finished with 94 yards on 20 carries. As a team Texas finished with 227 rushing yards.
Starting quarterback Tyrone Swoopes finished 11/29 for 124 yards and 1 TD.
The Longhorns finish the season with games at Oklahoma State and against TCU on Thanksgiving, needing to win one of two to be bowl eligible.
