The Texas Longhorns’ Basketball program is preparing to play its final season as members of the Big 12 Conference and will open conference play against the Texas Tech Red Raiders on Saturday, January 6. Rodney Terry’s team will be featured in three Big Monday games televised on ESPN, the league announced, two of which will be home games for the Longhorns. Texas will host the Houston Cougars on January 29 and Kansas State on February 19 in Austin and will face the Baylor Bears in a road matchup at Baylor on March 4.
Texas will play home and away games against Baylor, Houston, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and West Virginia, and will have road games against BYU, Cincinnati, Kansas and TCU. They will host Iowa State, K-State, Oklahoma State and UCF at the Moody Center.
The Longhorns open season play hosting University of Incarnate Word on Monday, November 6.
