The Texas Longhorns (12-6, 3-3) are back in action on Saturday in Morgantown as they face the #6 West Virginia Mountaineers (15-3, 4-2). Texas will face their second consecutive top-10 ranked opponent in Bob Huggins’ team, after defeating #8 Texas Tech 67-58 in Austin on Tuesday.
Junior guard Kerwin Roach notched a career-high in points against the Red Raiders with 20, and true freshman Mo Bamba tallied his 8th double-double on the season, with 15 points and 11 rebounds in the win.
Senior guard Jevon Carter leads the Mountaineers in scoring with 16.7 point per game, while junior forward Esa Ahmad is a close second, averaging 16.5 points per game.
West Virginia swept the Longhorns last season, winning both regular season contests and defeating Texas in the Big 12 Tournament.
