Former Wildcats forward Arthur Kaluma will play college basketball next season for head coach Rodney Terry and the Texas Longhorns. Kaluma, Kansas State’s leading rebounder and third-leading scorer last season, chose the Longhorns over SMU. The 6-7, 225 lb. Glendale Arizona native spent just one season in Manhattan after transferring from Creighton where he played two seasons.
Kaluma initially declared for the NBA Draft but entered the transfer portal prior to the NCAA deadline. He averaged 14.4 points and 7 rebounds for Jerome Tang’s program last season and will bolster a Texas team that lost key pieces in Dillon Mitchell (transfer) and Dylan Disu (eligibility).
