The SEC thread

Bama is literally whipping Georgia's ass. 21-0 in 1st qtr

Make that 28-0. Wow.

I thought Bama would win, but never thought it would be this bad.

If I remember correctly, SHA, you said when we had Milroe that he had the potential to be like VY.

Yes, I did. Can't believe you remembered that.

Its all there. Size, speed, developed arm and good decision making.

That wasn't what he was last year when we played them. But he's there this year.

Going back to Arch's run that the $ec refs spotted at the 1 yard line. I've watched the replay several times on ESPN and it should have been either a TD or if not, spotted at the 1 or 2 inch line. How they come up with the 1 yard line is beyond me, especially since replay looked at it. Arch also scored on 2nd down yet they spotted the ball short again.

On the first TD pass to Moore, you can see the Miss ST DB has a fist full of Golden's jersey but no flag. The multiple holds on Simmons and others, the facemask being held while Moore was blocking in front of at least 2 refs. I guess I was just expecting more of the $ec refs. To me, they were no better than the average Big XII ref crew.

I think this is dumb and UT should vote no. If the concept is to add ALL OOC games to with the conference up north then most of the B10 teams get the recruiting benefit. Most B10 teams add no benefit to Texas, whereas, they would get recruiting exposure in Texas. I would rather Texas to continue to have pre-conference games regionally and one P2 or P4 type game.

The 4 SEC and 4 B1G sounds dumb to me. If you assume you have 5 automatic bids like today, then select the best available teams irregardless of the conference.

The trick is finds a good way of determining which are the best available teams. Previously they favored undefeated teams with easy schedules, that needs to stop if they want to have interesting non conference games.

I don't want to see a smaller model of teams that might qualify. The NFL sucks and I hope I never see the college ranks go that route.

I'm kind of surprised that Texas is holding at 2nd in the sec with 4 home games. I expected them be in 3rd or 4th. Aggie stadium holds what? 108k seats but they are averaging only 99k; not a good look.
