Rochon or Wright?

You go with the healthiest QB which is Wright...no telling how long Ewers is out, and putting Card on a gimpy ankle is a good way to end his year...Wrights need all the snaps you can get him, he may be our QB longer than anyone thinks...If you know UT history there are legends that were once third stringers, I never got to see him at AHS but it wasn't like he  was a nobody in Texas schoolboy football
He was star at Austin High.  He didn't  have much help

Rochon? Really? Is he going to run the wildcat on every down? I don't believe he's thrown a pass since freshman fall camp?

It will be Wright. He might have to run a cliff notes version of the offense, but he can play. Also, with us down 2 QB's, the running game is more important than ever. We need Roshan to run like he is in the stretch run for the Heisman Trophy.

Every thing I hear about Wright says he is a baller.

.....and he better be. UTSA is no joke.

Wright should be ahead of Ewers as far as understanding the offense. He has had one more year to learn it than Ewers had. He has one week to get his timing down with the starters. He'll be okay.

The truth on Card. Swelling.

How long does a high ankle sprain take to heal? It might take you six to eight weeks to recover from a high ankle sprain. If you're an athlete, your return to play might take an even longer time. Low ankle sprains generally heal quicker than this.
If any of this is true, why did Card practice today?

Both can be true. I don't know. Guessing he won't easily give up the job he worked so hard to get, unless his leg falls off. It's still up to the coaches, and if I'm coach I sit him and start Wright, because we will probably need him sooner than later. I love that he's willing to play through it, but we can't have what we ended up with at the end of the game. Save him for conference IMO, and I'm a Card nut swinger.

You are correct , a high ankle sprain is the type of injury that nags all year long and only gets better with complete rest....and all it takes is another twist and your year is done

I knew that one was coming
I threw him an underhanded pitch right over the plate, he didn't disappoint.  ?
