SignUp Now!So lying and blatant dishonesty as a culture doesn't bother you in the least, as long as someone, somewhere, comes up with the opinion that it isn't actionable fraud. Interesting.Doesn't matter, not fraud.
I guess I was expecting more too. Hate to use the word flop but it was pretty much anti climatic for sure. That's how I took it too. However it does state that aggy wasn't the first to use it and their sacred fabled tradition may be just that, a fable. Like I stated earlier, they didn't invent it, they were just the first to trademark it.
So you aren't going to even try to explain why you guys are so adamant about not being honest about your school's history and you claim that as a victory. Interesting, but I would expect nothing else from those who lack integrity. You lose, good day sir.
If you think a politician like Ken Paxton is gonna risk alienating a large donor and voter base over a trademark dispute you should prepare to be disappointed. Just my two cents. I doubt the juice is worth the squeeze to him.The only opinion that matters on whether the university has acted unlawfully or not is that of the Texas Attorney General. I am confident we will have that opinion soon.
LOL! Seriously? Based on the oldest "tradition" they had (playing UT) aggy has proven they really don't know the meaning of tradition. One thing I will never understand is why the ags refuse to be honest with the public about the origins of their traditions. Why is it that the last options the aggys choose every time are the option to act honestly and with integrity. Beard, my friend, maybe you can explain it to me.
So I guessed right. When did TM post it?I have been watching twitter, message boards, national news sites, etc etc. No one seems to care abut this story since Texas monthly posted it.
Posted March 7th. http://www.texasmonthly.com/the-daily-post/12th-man-tradition/I hate to pile on but there has been literally no coverage,So I guessed right. When did TM post it?

Very possible. Also I'm not slamming RD's crusade. It's his time and effort so to each their own. My only thought is that no one outside of a few aggys no one really cares about the subject matter.Maybe so, but that might be thanks to an inherent disinterest in things aggy more than anything else. History tends to bore today's fast food society.
That said, I give props to Duke for making the pages of Texas Monthly – by screen name even. I don't think anyone else here has done that. And to his credit, the TM writer seemed to have great respect for Duke.

Alright Duke, it's been two weeks and this has not happened. And don't you dare say having a blog post on TexasMonthly's website counts. If you want free money, bet John Sharp his 12th Man trademark fraud is going to be exposed within the next two weeks.
1) it wasn't a blog post. It was the online edition of the magazine, but I understand your confusion. I'm guessing you don't read much so it's somewhat unfair to expect you to know the differenceAlright Duke, it's been two weeks and this has not happened. You, in no way, can say that your effort has has been anything but an undeniable failure.
You have lost, move on.
