And here I thought the Horns would have the best secondary in the country - hands down - by 2020 or 2021 after the huge haul in the 2018 class supplemented by a couple from the 2019 & 2017 classes.A OL that is. I am for 3 more OL and 4 more DB either recruits or transfers.
Cook has really upped his game. Jamison has been decent. Overshown has shined at times and so has Thompson. And here I thought the Horns would have the best secondary in the country - hands down - by 2020 or 2021 after the huge haul in the 2018 class supplemented by a couple from the 2019 & 2017 classes.

4*/.97 Jalen Green (early 5*)transferred

4*/.92 Josh Thompson (2017 class)
I'd be hard pressed to find anyone on this list that lived up to expectations. If I had to pick one that hasnt sucked it would probably be Cook (& possilbly Jamison) THIS year but that isnt living up to expectations
that thumb is going to be a season long nagging injury, it will only get better due to inactivity or to do some medical procedure or even immobilize it completely. CT will just have to learn to play thru it and hope it doesnt get any worseIT had a source tell them QB Casey Thompson had re-aggravated his thumb before the game on Saturday, and it was swollen.
That's probably the explanation for Texas failing to pass down field against OK State.
With a bye week, he should be fine as long as he's getting some TLC on it.that thumb is going to be a season long nagging injury, it will only get better due to inactivity or to do some medical procedure or even immobilize it completely. Or when the ref bumped Strong and threw the flag? Yep, I often wonder if Boone Pickens put the officials in his will.Weird calls always when playing okie lite. Remember tge 2015 game and all the phantom penalties against us.
ok... but it means nothing on Monday. It's really saying, "I'm mad now that I saw it on replay since I wasnt paying attention during the game." He should have been in the face of the refs DEMANDING a relook from the booth for crown of the helmet targeting on a defenseless player. At around the 24 min mark, I'm glad to hear he sent those 2 plays (QB roughing on Texas, no call on Casey) to the league to address. Not that it would have changed the outcome but if you call it one way, you have to call it the other.
I was at the game and I saw him speak to the refs right after Casey was hit. He then spoke to them again during a timeout however I'm sure the ref(s) used their get out of jail card "in my judgement". His only other recourse was to send it in to the league.ok... but it means nothing on Monday. It's really saying, "I'm mad now that I saw it on replay since I wasnt paying attention during the game." We didnt see that on TV. But, talking is not good enough in this situation. He should have made a spectacle of it, called a time out if necessary, and demanded a targeting review. If either foul would have gone Texas' way, the game might have been changed significantlyI was at the game and I saw him speak to the refs right after Casey was hit. So your logic is to burn a timeout in a close game in hopes the refs will take a look at something you just complained to them about?? Yeah that’s Mensa level right there. You can demand anything you want but it’s up to the refs. Talking is literally all he could do. Pretending otherwise or telling us what he should have done is moronic. You just said you didn’t see on TV when he spoke to the refs. Yet we are suppose to listen to you on what he should have done?? You apparently don’t even know what all was done and you definitely don’t know what was said to the refs. Maybe sit this one out champ. We didnt see that on TV.
