Senior wide receiver Devin Duvernay was named Big 12 Co-Offensive Player of the Week for his career-high performance against LSU on Saturday. The Longhorns lost 45-38 to the Tigers but Duvernay made the most of his play, catching 12 passes for 154 yards and two touchdowns.
Duvernay is averaging 10 yards per catch, and has a total of 3 touchdowns and 209 yards receiving this season through two games.
He joins Baylor senior wide receiver Denzel Mims in the honor. Mims caught three touchdowns for 101 yards in the Bears’ 63-14 win over UT-San Antonio.
