Dalton Santos shuns Tennessee, commits to Texas

Reports are circulating that Van High School linebacker Dalton Santos has changed his commitment from Tennessee to Texas.  The Longhorns are cleaning up the recruiting trail, as Santos and two others visited Austin over the weekend.  Two of the three visits have resulted in two additional commitments for Mack Brown.  Hendrickson athlete Daje Johnson is the other to commit to the Longhorns.  Bryce Cottrell, the other recruit which visited Austin, is committed to play with Chip Kelly at Oregon.   The Santos announcement comes early as he had intended to make his final decision known sometime on Monday. Texas is also holding out hope for Dorial Green-Beckham, the nation’s best wide receiver and #1 rated player, according to many recruiting rankings.  Mack Brown is definitely on a hot streak and the team hopes the good fortune continues through Wednesday, which is National Signing Day.
