2021 wide receiver Bryson Green is a name you will be hearing a lot come next cycle’s signing class. Out of powerhouse Allen High School, Green boasts 11 offers from Power Five programs.

Along with Texas, he holds offers from schools including Auburn, Baylor, Colorado, Nebraska, and Oklahoma State.

Currently, Green is the No. 40 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 31 player in the state of Texas for the class of 2021 per 247Sports.

The 6-foot-0.5, 203 pound wide receiver also has a twin brother, Blaine Green, who holds the same amount of offers from the same programs.

Green is a dual-sport athlete, playing basketball at Allen, which makes sense with a vertical jump of 36.60 inches.

At The Opening regional in Dallas back in March, he impressed with his testing scores, finishing in the top five for wide receivers.

He posted a 4.70 second 40-yard dash and a 4.25 second shuttle.

During his sophomore season, Green recorded 29 receptions for 463 yards and nine touchdowns, on a talented Allen team that was a game away from making the state championship.

The Longhorns offered Green and his brother in January and it was an offer that held weight to the young wide receiver.

“It was really exciting to be blessed with an offer. Coach Mehringer came to our basketball practice, took us to the side, and gave my brother and I the offer. Definitely a moment to remember.”

Green revealed that wide receivers coach Drew Mehringer, is off to a good start building trust with the two brothers.

“I have a good relationship with coach Mehringer. He showed us a lot of love when we visited and stayed with us for the majority of the event, which said a lot.”

Though the brothers were raised in Minnesota, Green says that he always liked watching Texas on college football Saturdays.

The Longhorns are coming off an incredible season after winning the Sugar Bowl last year, but one detail stands out to the talented recruit above the rest.

“The thing that stands out to me is their big receivers and offense. I always love to see a team throw the rock.”

Green last visited Texas in July and says he is still planning his visits out for the summer.

Already holding 11 offers from historic programs, the next two seasons at Allen will be a wild ride for the two brothers.

“I am truly blessed. No schools are really standing out right now. I am just developing relationships to see what schools I am interested in.”

As of now, the Longhorns hold only one pass-catcher commit, 2020 athlete Jaden Hullaby.
