Texas picked up another important piece in their 2026 class on Thursday morning with the commitment of LB Kosi Okpala.
The Houston area standout chose the Longhorns over Baylor, Miami and Penn State. Okpala’s addition to the class gives the Longhorns their first LB commit in the cycle and adds to a star-studded defensive class featuring 5-star edge rusher Richard Wesley, 5-star Athlete Jermaine Bishop, 4-star DT Vodney Cleveland, 4-star DT Corey Wells and 4-star DT Dylan Berymon.
The Loghorns now have 16 total commitments in the 2026 cycle.
